**Co Rd "A" open heading WEST out of the south gate - 07/04/2024, 09:30 AM**
The road from the South Gate heading west on County Road A towards Ashland is now open. Please inform all guests arriving this weekend NOT to use Guard Camp and Highway 6. The road in that area is undermined and beginning to dip, with potential for collapse due to lack of support under the culvert. Increased traffic could cause further damage and extend repair times or lead to a collapse. Advise your guests to approach from Highway 66 in Ashland. Although they will encounter barricades (highway 66 and Co Rd A) at this intersection, it is open to through traffic.

**Flooding Co RD A - 07/03/2024, 11:00 AM**

The Saunders County Highway Department is not allowing travel out of the south gate for travel WEST or EAST on Co Rd A as of 10:45am today. Approximately 1/2 mile east of South Gate on County Road A, the road has been undermined by water, with damage extending up to 7 feet beneath the roadway due to flooding. An additional inspection will be conducted once the water levels recede by the highway dept.  The County is very concerned the road could give way heading EAST to highway 6.  The department hopes to reopen CO RD A west of the south gate to Ashland once floodwaters from Wahoo Creek have subsided. As of today, entry and exit from the lake are permitted only through the North Gate. We will update this page as more information becomes available and don't plan on sending out additional SMS messages alerting of page updates.
Thank you

**Storm damage - 05/24/2024, 11:45 AM**
It's been an exciting week of weather! Due to storm damage near the roundabout, we're ordering a dumpster for tree logs and limbs that need to be cut up. If you only have small limbs, please use your normal trash container.  For larger quantities of limbs, please use the dumpster located by the Western Sand and Gravel gate west of "South Lake." If you're unsure where this is, any board member can help you locate it. The roll-off dumpster is on its way,  ETA is around 2pm today, so please wait until it arrives before placing anything in this area. To conserve space, please cut branches thoroughly before placing them in the dumpster, as it will fill up quickly if not properly managed.  See the image below for more information.
